KOBALT is a Hospital Grade Disinfectant with 70% ethanol. It is designed as a neat ready-to-use solution and must not be diluted.
KOBALT is specifically designed for use in hospitals, dental surgeries and other environments where efficient rapid killing of pathogenic micro-organisms is essential in the general context of infection control. It has gained wide acceptance in the Podiatry area.
KOBALT is active in the presence of serum, blood, faeces, urine and other organic matter. Its active constituent is of the Quarternary Ammonium Chloride group in an alcohol base.
KOBALT is not apparently absorbed to any significant extent although solutions containing alcohol may dry the skin with repeated contact. It is recognised as normal practice to always wear gloves when handling disinfectant solutions.
KOBALT is not intended for use on Therapeutic Devices.
